Microsoft 365 Admin center supports Active Users report under Usage reports. Using this report, you can find out how many product licenses are being used by users in your organization, and which users are using what licenses. You can export the following report details from this report page.
- Number of daily active users per app
- Number of daily user activities count per app
- Number of active and inactive users by service in the last N days (ex: 30, 90,180)
- Active users last activity date by service in the last N days
How to view and export Office 365 Active users reports
Follow the below steps to export the license usage reports from Microsoft 365 Admin center.
- Go to Microsoft 365 Admin center, go to the Reports > Usage page. Here you can see the different types of activity reports.
- Under the Active users card, click the View more button to see the report detail page.
- You can now export the above reports into a CSV file. Refer the steps in the below image.
